It's Christmas Time!

Well, the tree is finally decorated! Normally we have it finished by the night after Thanksgiving. We were a few days late this year. We went to North Carolina with family and friends to cut down a tree. We have missed out on this tradition the last two years since we were living in Louisville, but we were very happy to join back in this year. There is absolutely nothing like a real tree and picking one from the field makes it even more personal. I love the smell when I walk through the door.

We also took our family photo for our Christmas cards. I can't wait to upload my pics to Tiny Prints and get my cards back. I love giving and getting Christmas cards! There are so many to choose from, and if you know me well you know that I am an indecisive person... so with all the choices that Tiny Prints has, it may take me awhile to find the perfect one! I like the simplicity of this one:

The "Design Your Own" would allow a more personal customization.

This circle one is cool, too!

So, as you can see, I have A LOT to choose from. Will I ever decide???

I hope to get a card from you this season, so why don't you check out Tiny Prints and choose the perfect card for your family??

Christmas Cards

While Shutterfly is one of my favorite places (well, it's usually the only place I get prints) for prints, I found a new place to try called Tiny Prints. Click here to check out a way to get Christmas cards for free! They have some really cute designs at some pretty cute prices! It's never too early to start planning for your Christmas cards... which means we need to get a family photo ASAP!

Overwhelmed

is what I am feeling today. I feel like we might have one too many irons in the fire! It's not really anything major at this point, but small things that seem to stress me out. For instance, I am the room mom for Briggs' class at school. His Christmas party is scheduled for the same day as our MMO Christmas program (where I am teaching 2 year olds)... so I am feeling stressed about this. Aaron is also planning to be in Guatemala in December, which stresses me out just thinking about it! Thanksgiving is right around the corner.... Wasn't it just August? We are looking for a house to live in when our time in the current one is up, and we are busy filling out paper work for our non-profit organization. It seems there aren't enough hours in the day to keep up with everything. I try to remember just to take a deep breath and put it all in God's hands, but sometimes that's easier said than done!

An awesome song of worship. My prayer for my life.

This Post Might Get Long :)

So, it has been a while since I've blogged; it's not that I haven't had anything to say or anything to update. It's just that every single time I sit down to type, the words just won't come. Seriously, I get some kind of blogger's block or something, and the cute little post that was just in my mind has disappeared. Well, I I decided that tonight I'm just gonna start typing and see what happens ... hence the title!

One of the questions everyone seems to ask is, "Are you glad to be back?" The answer, "yes... and NO." Most people aren't expecting the no answer. Frankly, sometimes I can't even believe I'm answering that way. I NEVER in my wildest dreams would have believed that I would love Louisville and wish to be back there. I was so content, had my routine... everything seemed perfect, which is why I think God moved us back to SC. So, yes, I am glad to be here, but I also miss Louisville. There have been many days that I wanted to pack up and head back.

The other common question is "are you settled?" For the most part, yes, we are settled, however, it is hard to be completely settled when you still have everything (minus clothes and a few things) packed in boxes. I'm SO grateful to be able to live where we are living. It is totally a God thing that could only have been provided by His Hand, but it is sometimes difficult for me to live in a place where the furniture is not mine, the bed is not mine, the decorations are not mine. Men don't get it. Maybe I'm crazy... well, I know I'm crazy, but it just doesn't quite feel like "home."

School - Does Briggs like school? Yes, for the most part, but because he is having to repeat K5, he is extremely bored right now. He has made several friends and seems to enjoy going to school and playing with them. He is well behaved and does his work no problem for his teacher. I am thankful for that, yet, if I had my way, I would still be homeschooling. Most people don't understand. Only those of us who have or do homeschool understand the reward and challenge of homeschooling. I miss it very much.

I have been able to substitute some at our church's MMO/Preschool program so this has allowed me to occupy my time as well as do some of the "teaching" that I am missing with Briggs.

Just stop for a minute and think about how many hours in a day your children are away from you while at school... now add that up by week, month, year, and look at all the time your kids are away from you and under the influence of someone else. Yet another reason I miss homeschooling.

Aaron - enjoys his job, or at least I think he does :) It definitely is not a life-long career for him, but it is great for the season of life we are in. It is flexible and involves no nights or weekends. We are glad for that, since both were requirements for working at the pharmacy at Kroger. Speaking of, oddly, I miss Kroger. It was a nice grocery store that had lots of different items. They carried things that I can't find here. They also had lots of store brands that were equal to national brands. Food was cheaper in Louisville, too. Funny the things we become accustomed to!

Missions - yes, we still are seeking to work in missions. But the means by which we are planning to do that has changed. We went to seminary thinking we would go abroad somewhere with the International Mission Board. We even were looking at a job in Peru just a few months ago. Then came the family trip to Guatemala with Highview Baptist Church (one of the best churches in all of Louisville, in my opinion!) that changed our minds, our hearts, our future. God laid it upon Aaron's heart that we were not to continue in the process with the IMB, but rather we were to work in Guatemala among the people of the dump area in Guatemala City. He has been working hard to start a non-profit organization that will allow us to serve the people of Guatemala City while bringing glory and honor to God. We are now a formal corporation. Foundations of Hope was made official on October 5, 2011. We are in the process now of filing paperwork with the IRS to become an official 501c3 non-profit organization. We are excited about this opportunity that the Lord has blessed us with!

So, as you can see, we have been busy. All the blog posts that I have wanted to write over the last few months can't be summed up tonight, but I think this is a pretty good start and getting everything caught up!

Settled... for now!

Haven't updated the blog lately. Been too busy trying to get settled back in SC. We are enjoying our time here so far, but there have been days when I wished I was back in Louisville... simply for the routine that we had there. Moving and getting into a new routine is always quite challenging. Hopefully we will get in the swing of things soon. We decided last week to send Briggs back to K5. He is attending a good school here in the area. I'm torn about not homeschooling him, but we feel that sending him to public school for now is the best decision. That's about all the updating for now. Not too much else going on. Looking forward to football season starting soon! Go Tigers :)

Loving Louisville

So earlier I posted about the things I am looking forward to about moving back to South Carolina. Well, we always knew that Louisville was just a stop on this journey, that we would be merely passing through, but I never dreamed or imagined I would end up loving the place like I do! Here are a few of the things I will miss:

1. the wonderful friends we've made here (one of the first people I met has curly hair just like me - we immediately had something in common; I met my twin sister here - we are so much alike it's scary! we met people from the area we're from in SC - and had to come all the way to Louisville to meet them! I met another 'only child' who I relate to so well. We've met people who will be life long friends, who've helped us through thick and thin. We will miss them all!)
2. The Hispanic campus - I will miss Pastor Ramon and his family, along with many of the other families that attend the Hispanic campus. They have treated us like family! I will miss worshipping in Spanish on Sunday mornings - even though I have no idea what I'm singing!
3. Havana Rumba - one of our very favorite restaurants in Louisville. They have great Cuban food.
4. Chuy's (Another wonderful restaurant) - our weekly (almost) obsession with Kyle and April!
5. The Seminary and its community - not just the facilities themselves, but the people, the classes, the whole way of life
6. being able to walk to the library and the seminary
7. Highview Baptist Church - phenomenal worship, great teaching, great people
8. The Attic (the seminary's "Goodwill," only all the stuff is free!)
9. Being able to go to the Seminary clinic for $5.00
10. Brittney's guacamole (& the parties that go with them)!
11. All the little girls that are Briggs' "girlfriends"
12. Derby festival activities, especially Thunder Over Louisville (we might just come back for that)
13. being able to walk to 3 different parks (one with a splash park)
14. the Homeschooling community and support here
15. the 10% discount we get on groceries because Aaron works at Kroger

So those are just a few of the things that come to mind when I think of things I will miss in Louisville. Though we had a rough start, it turned out to be an all right place to live!

I'm Going Home!

For those of you who may not know yet, we have decided to move back to South Carolina. The decision came about rather quickly, but we are certain it is the right one for our family. We are excited about being close to family and friends again. Here are a few more specific things I am looking forward to:

1. Having a house to live in with a little more room ... and a yard!
2. Having a full size washer and dryer
3. Going to a restaurant and being able to get sweet tea (it's not always really sweet here)!
4. Being back in The South
5. Attending Brushy Creek Baptist Church and hearing the Word from Jim Spencer
6. Warmer winters!
7. Firehouse Subs
8. Football in the South!
9. Clemson games
10. being back in the "country"
11. Did I mention Clemson football?
12. Being close to the mountains and the coast
13. kayaking again since we will be close to lakes!
14. not having to deal with crazy Kentucky drivers :)
15. having an outdoor pool to go to

So these are just a few of the things I am looking forward to. Next post ... things I will miss about Louisville.

Guatemala - 9 months later

Aaron and I had the privilege to visit Guatemala June 30-July 6. We were able to visit the same area that we visited in October. During this trip Briggs was able to accompany us. Let me begin by saying that I was at first very resistant to going. April and Kory heard me complain and vent my fears about going to another country with a 5 year old more than once... but praise God that my husband wouldn't take "no" for an answer. I'm thankful for his discernment from the Lord, and his courage to tell me we were all going - even when I fought it so much! God is just so truly indescribable in His love for us, and in the grace and mercy He shows us. I'm forever grateful for this trip - for the experience of seeing my son interact with the kids of Pacux, Guatemala and for so much more!

This particular trip was a little easier for me than I expected, simply because I had been there before and knew what to expect. I knew how long the plane ride took, I knew how long we would have to wait in the mall for the money to be exchanged, I knew how long the bus would wind its way up the mountain before we finally got to the hotel in Rabinal - and I knew what to expect from the rooms we stayed in and the food we would eat. These simple things allowed me to truly "relax" a little, even though I was totally stressing about Briggs being in a foreign country. As you will be able to see by the pics, Briggs should have been the least of my worries! Everyone talks about how resilient kids are and how adaptable they are. This trip was evidence of that for me. My quiet, shy son sort of came out of his shell around many of the Guatemalan kids. He was still a little hesitant around the girls, but I think that's to be expected of a 5 year old boy!

Thanks to those of you who prayed for us while we were there. I can't begin to even put into words the love we have for each of you! We have also come to love Guatemala! God is at work there, even among the people who live in the middle of the dump. To summarize (from the words of one of my favorite songs): "Glory to God, glory to God, glory to God forever. Take my life and let it be all for You and for Your glory. Take my life and let it be Yours."

While we were walking around this village, I looked over & this guy was wearing a shirt that said, "aaron stinks." I HAD to have a picture!

Some People Will Do Anything for Free Food ...

like dress up as cows! This past Friday was Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A and if you dressed as a cow, you could receive a free meal. I was surprised when Aaron agreed to dress up and go. Here we are:

We enjoyed 3 meals for FREE! It was a bit crowded, and Aaron and I chuckled to ourselves that most of the people in there were also seminary students. Everybody know seminarians can use all the free food we can get!!

The Cajun Cornbread Boy

If you like The Gingerbread Man,

you might like this fun twist on the old story. Briggs picked out The Cajun Cornbread Boy last week at our local library. I think I may have enjoyed even more than he did!

Fun, easy project

Yesterday we went to our friend, April's house. Briggs was playing with her girls, and they decided they wanted to make bird feeders. They gathered pine cones, April got bird seed and peanut butter, and the kids got to work. Here are the finished projects hanging in the trees outside our apartment (cell phone pics, poor quality):

Mom, I'm bored

is what I heard Briggs saying earlier this week. What's a mom to do when there are no kids around to play with, and I wasn't playing baseball "right"? I decided to make an obstacle course for Briggs to go through. He thought it was great, and it kept him busy for at least 30 minutes. Here are some pics (taken with my cell phone, so poor quality):

The course consisted of chairs, stools, balls and bats. I had to time him each time he did it. He tried to beat the previous time each time he did it. He's such a competitive little thing, even against himself. He had fun, though, and that's all that matters!

Graduation # 3

Graduation day has come and gone for Aaron. We keep talking about how quickly it went. It seems like just yesterday we were getting ready to move to Louisville... now we are looking ahead to the future and our possible move away from Louisville! WOW! As I was thinking about what I was going to write in this post, I read back over some of my old posts, from as far back as 2008. The one constant thing I can say is that God's hand of providence has been upon our lives since day 1! It's amazing to read how things have changed, how things have stayed the same, but all seemingly for the glory of God! I cried as I read those posts and thought about God's goodness to us. He has carried us along this journey, and I can't imagine that He would stop carrying us now. I pray I never lose sight of God's goodness, His providence, His love, His grace.

I am so thankful for a hard working husband, who loves the Lord. Not only did he graduate from seminary, he took 12-15 hours per semester, as well as worked 30-40 hours per week. He was one busy man, but he still made time for Briggs and me, and ministry, too. God surely sustained him during his time in seminary. We are grateful! To God Be The Glory!!

Graduation # 2

I CAN NOT believe that my baby has graduated from kindergarten! Last night we celebrated his K5 graduation from New Song Christian Academy. He looked so handsome in his cap and gown. He even surprised us by walking across the stage by himself (well, almost anyway. He received a little help from Mrs. B)! He has learned so much this year at New Song, as well as at home. I am thankful that I have had a huge part in his education. I'm not against public education by any means, but there's nothing like the feeling of knowing that I have taught my child how to read and have grown with him as we have learned together this year. Last night as I sat at the graduation service, I knew that's exactly where we were supposed to be for this past year of school, and that homeschooling is the right decision for this next year as well. While I do not want to keep him "in a bubble" for his whole life, I am grateful for the privilege to homeschool him and send him to a supplemental program that teaches Christian values.

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

And the verdict is...

homeschooling! Yes, after MUCH deliberation, weighing the pros and cons of both public and home schools, we have decided that we will continue homeschooling. We are also still going to participate in the supplemental school we were a part of this year. It's crazy, in a way, because Briggs got selected to go to the public school that we had hoped he would. I thought if he got selected to go to Chenoweth, it would be a no-brainer. I just thought he would go there without us ever thinking about it. We never really felt that's what we were supposed to do, and so we will continue to homeschool until God directs us otherwise. I'm glad to have that decision behind us! Thanks for your prayers!

Graduation #1

Yesterday I graduated from The Seminary Wives Program from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I received a certificate in ministry studies. SWI is a wonderful program for the wives of seminary (& Boyce)students started by Mrs. Mary Mohler. We take 13 courses for the regular certificate and 17 hours for the advanced certificate. I was aiming for the advanced certificate, but our time here only allowed for the regular. The perfectionist in me really wanted the advanced, but none the less, I worked hard on Thursday nights to complete all the requirements for the classes. Some of the classes I took inlcuded: Discipleship I & II, Leadership I & II, Biblical Parenting, Cross Cultural Ministry, just to name a few. I enjoyed the classes so much, in fact, that I am thinking since we will still be here in the fall as we work through the process with IMB that I will take more classes. Each class is 6 weeks long, sort of giving an overview of some of the things our husbands are learning while in seminary, while also equipping the wives for ministry as well. I would highly recommend that any seminary wife get enrolled for this wonderful program. Here is a picture of my friend, April, and me after graduation.

Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day! Don't forget to pray for the infertile, those who have babies in heaven, and those whose moms are no longer with them.

Exciting Month of May!

May is a great month for us! Yesterday, May 6, Aaron and I celebrated 11 years of marriage! Time has flown by. I'm so grateful to be married to such a wonderful man. We will also celebrate my graduation from The Seminary Wives Institute on May 13, Briggs' K5 graduation on May 19, and Aaron's graduation from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary on May 20! What a busy, but fun and exciting month!

Still doing paperwork...

In case some of you are wondering, we are still completing paperwork in this missions process. We have completed health questionnaires for the 3 of us, and are now working on our testimonies and what we believe - which I know we have done before, because I remember the forms! It's somewhat frustrating to have to do this part again, but I know it is necessary and will be worth while in the end. So maybe we are little closer to what our future will be, but still have a good ways to go!

I Love Hispanics!

Aaron and I have had the privilege of serving at our church's 2 Hispanic campuses. We began attending the Indiana Hispanic campus nearly a year ago and have really grown to love it there! We began just attending the service. We thought it would help our language learning and culture learning. Near the end of summer, we began working with the kids there. We taught Bible stories and loved on the preschoolers and elementary aged kids during the worship service. Back in late fall, Aaron began working with a couple of the teen boys during worship, teaching them the Bible. I was amazed to learn that they had never even heard of Daniel and The Lion's Den. In January or so, I began working with two teen girls, also teaching them the Bible and hanging out with them. We love them!

In February of this year, we began attending the Fegenbush Hispanic campus on Sunday mornings. Aaron is currently teaching one of the youth boys during worship. I am ready to teach if needed. Since there are no youth aged girls for me to teach right now, I sit through the entire service, trying my best to keep up with what is being said. I normally have NO clue as to what is going on, as was the case last week when I didn't participate in communion! I was more than a little confused about when to go down so I sat there with my head bowed, realizing that every body knows I can't speak Spanish - nor understand it! Aaron and I had a laugh with the pastor afterward, as they were joking about my reasons for not taking communion!

I say all this to say: We Love Hispanics and are blessed to be able to work with and among them each week!

Now if I could only learn to be as laid back and easy going as they are .... :)

Moving on Up ....

Or through, I should say. We received the call a week ago Thursday that we have been chosen to move through to the next round with the missions agency that we have been considering. We were surprised and delighted to receive the call quicker than the 30 days they originally said. We are now in the "paperwork" stage where we begin filling out medical questionnaires, along with a written biography, and testimony. We are looking at a 12-18 month process. At that point there may be possible jobs for us to look at more closely. We are excited about this opportunity that the Lord has presented. Please pray for us as we continue this journey.

This Is The Stuff - Francesca Battistelli

I lost my keys
In the great unknown
And call me please
'Cause I can't find my phone

This is the stuff that drives me crazy.
This is the stuff that's getting to me lately.
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed

This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I've got to trust You know exactly what You're doing
Might not be what I might choose
But this is the stuff you use

45 in a 35
Sirens and fines
While I'm running behind

This is the stuff that drives me crazy
This is the stuff that's getting to me lately
In the middle of my little mess
I forget how big I'm blessed

This is the stuff that gets under my skin
But I've gotta trust You know exactly what You're doing
Might not be what I might choose but this is the stuff You use

So break me of impatience
Conquer my frustrations
I've got a new appreciation
It's not the end of the world

This is the stuff that drives me crazy.
This is the stuff
Someone save me
In the middle of little my mess
I forget how big I'm blessed

This is the stuff that gets under my skin
And I've gotta trust you know exactly what You're doing
Might not be what I would choose but this is the stuff You use

This is the stuff You use

Expo Update

Just a quick update about our time spent at the missions expo a couple of weeks ago. First off, I must say we were very tired by the end of the weekend! We pretty much went non-stop from Thursday evening until Saturday at noon. We enjoyed the sessions and learned lots. We decided at the end of the weekend to go forward in the process with the agency. There were some job possibilities that we liked and felt we should continue going through the process. We will receive a call from our consultant in about 30 days letting us know if we "passed" and are considered to be good candidates for them. At that point (if we are approved), we will begin much paperwork and see where the Lord leads. We appreciate your prayers for us! We also appreciate our friends who so graciously stepped in to babysit Briggs for us during that busy weekend. We couldn't have made it to the expo without The Becks, The Mahons, The Goulds, and The Schmids. Thank you so much!

Prayers, Please!

Calling all my prayer warriors:

We have Missions Expo with the IMB this weekend (Thursday - Saturday) where we will be interviewed and look at possible job openings. Please be in prayer with us as we seek God's direction during this process.

We are also trying to decide whether or not to send Briggs to public school next year or continue with homeschooling and our supplemental school. I am also trying to determine whether or not I will continue teaching at the supplemental school next year.

Aaron has a really busy couple of weeks with school, from now until Spring Break (which is the first full week of April).

Please lift our family up as we come to your mind!

Gracias :)

Funny Things Briggs Says...

Here a just a few of the things that make me smile:

He needs "destruction" paper for crafts.

Here are the "duructions" for putting Legos together.

Everything, and I mean everything, relates in some way, shape or form to Star Wars... for example, when saying the Pledge of Allegiance at school, he notices that "Republic" is on Star Wars. When he heard something on the news about "democracy," he related it back to Star Wars, and the list could go on and on.

When we learned the consonant digraph "xt" and had the example word of "text," he said, "you should not text and drive!"

He still refers to Dr. Pepper as "hot tea," even though he now knows it is actually called Dr. Pepper (he began calling it "hot tea" when he was about 2 years old).

Each week we go to the "liberry." This one DRIVES me CRAZY!!!

When we first starting attending the Hispanic or Spanish church, he asked, "are we going to the 'Spinach' church tonight?"

Man, I love that boy of mine! :)

Time is of the Essence

Now is the time to get things done …

wade in the water,

sit in the sun,

squish my toes

in the mud by the door,

explore the world in a boy just four.

Now is the time to study books,

flowers,

snails,

how a cloud looks;

to ponder “up,”

where God sleeps nights,

why mosquitoes take such big bites.

Later there’ll be time

to sew and clean,

paint the hall

that soft new green,

to make new drapes,

refinish the floor -

later on … when he’s not just four.

Update

Well, here it is March already! I'm sooooo ready for Spring! In my classroom we have started counting down the days. I think it's something like 16 days until the first day of Spring, although I've heard that doesn't really mean anything here in Louisville. Apparently we are still likely to get snow. :( It never really snowed a lot at once, but it sure did snow a little a lot! I'm ready for flip flops and days spent outside.

I am on another countdown now, too. Aaron has about 78 days left until graduation. At the rate we are going, May 20 will be here before I can blink! We are so excited about this upcoming milestone. God has truly blessed us as we've been on this journey. I really don't give Him the praise He deserves for how much He has cared and provided for us during these last 2 years. I'm so grateful. Some of you may be asking what we are planning to do since graduation is looming. Good question! We have learned of two other possibilities recently (in addition to the IMB) that we are praying about. We will see where God leads. We ask that you pray with us as we seek to obey God. We need much wisdom and discernment over the next few months. In the meantime, we have decided that there's no need to wait until Aaron finishes school to "do missions." We have been attending Highview's Indiana Hispanic Campus since last May, but we have recently begun attending the Fegenbush Hispanic Campus as well. This has led to changes in where we attend English services also. We were attending Highview East Campus, but have made the move to Fegenbush so that we can leave the English service and walk across the hall to attend the Hispanic service. On Sunday nights Aaron and I both are working with some of the youth (all siblings). On Sunday mornings, Aaron is working with one youth boy right now, and I am sitting through the service. I'm hoping that somehow the immersion into Spanish will help my language skills develop. The attendees of the Hispanic campus are certainly keeping me on my toes. Each week they ask me questions in Spanish or try to carry on a conversation with me. Most weeks I have a "deer in the headlights" look on my face, but maybe someday I will understand! I'm at least able to sing most of the songs during worship, even though I have no idea what I'm singing! I'm praying that God will help me to easily learn the Spanish language. :)

Briggs is prodding right along with kindergarten. He is reading with much more confidence now and enjoys math a lot. I was hoping he would love English/reading/writing as much as me. I guess he got his math abilities from Aaron because he sure didn't get any from me! He is into everything Star Wars and Mario Brothers right now. His neighbor friend, Austin, comes outside to play and they run around "killing droids" and fighting for the "light side." :)

I am still very much enjoying my time as a stay at home mom. I hope the Lord will allow me to continue to stay at home in the future. It is such a blessing to be here with Briggs.

Well, supper time is calling so I must go cook!

Food for Thought

"It is sobering to think that some Christians who look forward to heaven will not rise 15 minutes early or attend services on Sundays to be with Him here on earth. I have often wondered what it is people expect to experience in heaven that makes them think they want to go there. If they do not cherish the music of praise and the fellowship of His children, or love to hear the eternal truths of His word, how strange the surroundings of heaven will seem." - A Call to Joy, Billie Hanks, Jr.

Hmmm - I am often guilty of this, how about you?

Hello, blogger world...

I feel like I need to discontinue my blog. Haven't blogged consistently lately. It seems like every time I sit down to do it something else gets my attention, and I never make it back to my thoughts that I wanted to blog about.

Today, I am making time to do it! I couldn't let the week go by without thinking back to January 2009, when we moved to Louisville. You can read about it here. What a crazy time that was. I still cannot believe that we have lived here for 2 years. I never, never, never imagined it would go so quickly and that I would enjoy things here. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my South Carolina home and miss it dearly, but God has given me a peace about living in Louisville.

Aaron starts his last semester next week. Yep, you read that right. His LAST semester, Lord willing of course! Again, I didn't think time would move so quickly. He has kept his grades up, despite working 40 hours a week, and I couldn't be more proud of him. We still don't know what God has in store for us after graduation. We are waiting for Him to open the door that we should go through. We are attending Missions Expo in March with the IMB, looking for possibilities, here, there, and everywhere! We know God has a plan, and we are waiting for His PERFECT timing to reveal it to us.

Pray with us as we seek His will for our lives.
